Criticising the Union Territory (UT) government for allowing Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) state president pin badges and ranks in a passing out parade, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah questioned under what authority he was allowed to do so.
Shame on this government, vice president of the National Conference (NC) said in a tweet.
He said “ It never fails to amaze me how most of the J&K administration, both civil & police, grovels in front of BJP functionaries. The state president pins badges & ranks in a police passing out parade having no position of authority in J&K what so ever. Shame on this government”.
